What You Need To be Successful in Group

Regular Attendance. Absence creates a discouraged and disjunctive group.

Willingness to Participate. Entering group is a social contract to self-reveal and to continue communication despite pain, anger, or anxiety. You will help yourself most of all by being honest and direct with your feelings in the group at the moment they arise – especially toward other members and the therapist. This is the “core” of process group therapy.
